The public first noticed this Cybertruck’s wipers, which are smaller than the previous prototype.

Musk had stated that the Cybertruck’s original wipers would not make it into production, Electrek reports.

Interior photos of the new Cybertruck prototype show an incomplete cab, missing the steering wheel airbag and forward-facing camera housing.

The truck’s central infotainment screen is housed in a single unit, similar to other Teslas.

Cybertruck appeared to support Tesla’s Megapack energy storage project.

This public cybertruck viewing was a treat for EV (electric vehicle) fans as production of the truck had been delayed.

Tesla initially decided to prioritize its Model Y over the cybertruck in January amid supply chain issues, reports The Verge.

Many automakers are choosing to develop higher-priced vehicles to counteract the financial impact that recent supply chain problems have caused.

According to reports from Clean Technica, Tesla has gained an advantage over most rival manufacturers during recent supply woes due to its commitment to vertical integration.

Cybertruck development undoubtedly benefits from the company’s purchase of the world’s largest casting machine, known as the Giga Press, reports Elektrek.

Tesla’s goal is to use Giga Press to enable larger castings that simplify manufacturing.

Tesla has started making the Model Y at its Gigafactory, Texas facility with one-piece casting front and rear.

Tesla will start Cybertruck production in 2023, pre-order now possible.
