Gabriel Jesus drops hint at upcoming transfer decision amid Arsenal interest | Soccer

Gabriel Jesus has suggested he could make a final decision on his future at the club next week.
The Manchester City striker is reportedly ready to leave the Premier League champions for Arsenal.
The Brazil international, while a reliable option for Pep Guardiola, is said to be looking to secure greater first-team opportunities after just 21 league games last season. Erling Haaland’s arrival at the Etihad is likely to further limit his options.
While Arsenal missed out on Champions League qualification last season, Jesus is reportedly still keen on reuniting with former City assistant Mikel Arteta this summer.
After Brazil’s 5-1 win over South Korea, Jesus hinted that a decision could be imminent.
“I want to see what’s best for me and most importantly for my career. From Tuesday we will see what is best.”
Tottenham are vying with the Gunners for Jesus’ signature, with Antonio Conte’s side able to offer Champions League football next season.
However, the 25-year-old is reportedly keen to work under Arteta and willing to sacrifice at least one Champions League season.
Jesus has been a reliable option under Guardiola since joining Etihad in 2016, scoring 95 goals in 236 games. Last season he contributed 13 goals and 12 assists in 41 games.
