This test is suitable for women who want to check their fertility, hormone-related diseases such as PCOS or their perimenopause. It measures hormone levels and ovarian reserve.

Mine was just below optimal level, but that’s to be expected in your 440’s.

The test is easy. You prick your finger, fill a small tube with blood, mail it off, and get your results in a few days.

They repeat this twice in a month. It is the most advanced test of its kind on the market.

You also have the opportunity to speak to your specialist afterwards. The only downside is that you need quite a bit of blood.

I couldn’t get enough in the tube on my first try, so they sent another one.

My favourite. £116, instant.co.uk.

THAT was a bit of a hassle as you have to go to a clinic and draw blood instead of doing it at home.

But on the bright side, you know the right amount of blood was drawn and you don’t have to repeat the test.

The Advanced Well Woman Blood Test from Medichecks is an ingenious all-rounder.

It tests everything from red and white blood cells, kidney, liver and muscle health, diabetes, cholesterol, gout risk, mineral and vitamin levels, thyroid and hormones.

You get the results online and can get a report.

I also loved that a doctor had reviewed and discussed the results, for example my red blood cells were enlarged which scared me, but the doctor suggested repeating the test in three months (which I did and it was fine ). .

The only downside is that I would have loved an app.

I WAS absolutely terrified when I tried this.

Biological age is a fantastic indicator of overall health.

It allows us to see if the body is being exposed to too much unhealthy stress, which can be affected by diet, sleep, fitness, and emotional stress.

It’s also a great way to track the impact of lifestyle and fitness changes you’ve made, such as: B. training for a marathon or starting a new diet.

This was by far the easiest test. You have a piece of cardboard or blotting paper, then prick your finger and dab four squares with blood. You don’t need much blood.

Results last a few weeks. I was five years under my real age!

You will receive a follow-up call with a scientist to understand your findings.

I had certain areas of concern, such as the risk of diabetes, and he explained how to deal with them.

If you want to keep track of your long-term health this is great, £289, glycanage.com.
