Fred Again.. Did an amazing NPR Tiny Desk concert

Fred Again.. had a big year in 2022 with the release of the album Current Life 3 (January 1 – September 9, 2022). But the momentum hasn’t stopped. He’s on the new Skrillex album and has joined him at a special pop-up show at New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden. Today (April 10) he brought his talent to NPR Tiny Desk Concert.
The performance is intimate and impressive, and serves as a throwback to last year’s record. He performs “Kyle (I Found You)”, “Roze (Forgive)”, “Adam (Interlude)”, “Me (Heavy)”, “Berwyn (Interlude)”, “Delilah (Pull Me Out Of This)”, and “Faisal (envelops me)”.
Last year he spoke to Ed Sheeran about what it’s like to make music. “We were kind of like twins from the start,” he said. “We have very similar tastes in music and a similar upbringing. So it was very natural and effortless. And we both like to write fast. And what I would say mainly… it’s actually similar to Burna Boy. And it’s the instinct thing. He’s just instinct, instinct, instinct, instinct. Every time he writes it’s just like, ‘Go, go, go, go, work it out later.’ And sometimes there’s a little tweak later, but basically the thing is born out of instinct, and then you can refine that thing beyond that.”
