Foyle’s star Honeysuckle had to drive drunk to ‘escape in a threesome’

Foyle’s War star Honeysuckle Weeks told a court she had been drinking and driving to flee a night of unwanted group sex.

The 43-year-old was expecting to stay with a male pal after a night out in Arundel, West Sussex.

But she told Worthing magistrates: “The man in question invited his mistress onto the property and I was at risk of being forced into sexual activity with them, which I found extremely undesirable.”

Byworth’s Weeks got into her £30,000 Honda SUV and backed into a parked car – witnessed by an off-duty police officer.

The court heard it was twice the legal limit. She admitted drink driving and was fined £120, banned for 20 months and ordered to pay the £85 cost.

The actress told the court that she currently has no income and received Universal Credit.
