A TikToker, who said she’s a former In-N-Out staffer, shared several “order secrets” that viewers can reportedly request from her local In-N-Out.
In a video with over 52,000 views, TikTok user Jess (@jessmmichel) shared several creations she and her colleagues made during their time at In-N-Out. While she said some are not available to order for the general public and were just items she and her colleagues made for fun, others can be purchased through the checkout process if ordered carefully.

The first dish she suggested to vegetarians was loaded fries.
“You can order fries and a side of grilled onions, and then you add spread, ketchup, mustard, and mix it all together,” Jess said. “It’s so damn good when you add the chopped chilies.”
Second, Jess said that impromptu salads can be made by ordering ingredients a la carte and then asking for multiple sides of the salad.
“You can try ordering this, but it’s a bit more difficult,” she advised.
The last In-N-Out ordering hack she recommends is a milkshake/coffee mix.
The recipe is essentially what it sounds like: order a chocolate, vanilla, or blended milkshake and a coffee. Then mix the two together.
“You have to mix it separately. You can’t ask them to do it,” she said. “It’s so good. That’s how I would drink my coffee – without cream or sugar because the shake is obviously cream and sugar and it’s amazing.”
In the comments, several suspected former In-N-Out employees shared their own creations from their time at the store.
“Lol one time my manager made me animal fries on the grill instead of the steamer and the cheese was so much better,” wrote one user.
“In my shop we make grilled tomatoes as chili,” added another. “I agree so well! Chefs kiss.”
Others simply shared their excitement at the prospect of ordering such items from In-N-Out — and their hope that Jess would make more In-N-Out hack videos.
“Will try that next time!!!” exclaimed one commenter.
“Okay I need a series on secret menu items please,” concluded another user.
