Gibson said his design was refined by the trifecta of architect Nicholas Day, landscape architect Paul Bangay and the late interior designer Stuart Rattle.

“There aren’t three better exponents of their craft,” said Gibson. “You put together a really nice family home.”

The Ponting family owns a Big Block home in Brighton that was purchased in 2013 for $9.25 million on behalf of wife Rianna and a beach house in Portsea that was purchased in 2019 for $3.51 million.

Gibson’s other recent sales include a Macquarie Road, Toorak, stack that came with a price guideline of $28-$30 million.

He also oversaw the sale of Little Milton on Albany Road, which traded within his $27-$29 million price guideline.

“The market in Toorak is stronger than ever,” he said.
