Fire breaks out at Salt Lake City thrift store, Lagoon theme park

Two fires were extinguished by firefighters today at businesses on Wasatch Front.

Firefighters responded to the IconoCLAD consignment store – located at 414 E 300 S – at 7:46 a.m., according to a Salt Lake City fire official. The fire was extinguished 10 minutes after emergency services arrived.

IconoCLAD, that Voted one of the city’s best thrift stores, temporarily closed on Saturday while workers assess the damage to the store. The fire is still under investigation.

The Lagoon fire started just before 9 a.m. at the park’s candy store, according to Fox 13. Firefighters discovered the blaze and the fire brigade quickly arrived and brought the blaze under control.
