Fever Ray releases the new “Even It Out” video

In November 2022, Fever announced Ray Radical Romantics, her first new album in over five years. After releasing singles like “What They Call Us” and “Carbon Dioxide,” they unveiled the LP today and shared a video for “Even It Out.”
Featuring guest appearances from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, who helped produce the album, the video is inspired by legendary author Susan Sontag and cult classic John Waters female problems. It is disturbing and humorous at the same time when Karin Dreijer sings ecstatically about revenge: “There’s no room for you / And we know where you live.”
This third studio album is a follow-up to 2017 Overthrow. They shared a statement on social media: “Making an album and releasing it takes a lot of work from a lot of people!” they wrote. “From the bottom of my heart I want to thank everyone involved in making this happen and helping me create a space for playfulness.”
It’s RR release day! ❤️🔥There is a Swedish saying “suck on a candy” when you know you have something fun to share but make it wait a bit just to feel it yourself. I’ve had the pleasure of doing this for a while now. But now I’m so excited to share it!! pic.twitter.com/z54o60JWXE
