Fenton woman accused of shooting her father over the weekend

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A Fenton woman faces prosecution over the weekend for the shooting death of her father in St. Louis County.
Prosecutors have charged 26-year-old Laminia Holt with first-degree murder and armed criminal activity in the investigation. Sher is being held without bond in the Jefferson County Jail.
According to court documents, investigators say Holt shot and killed her father, Charles Holt, on Sunday night. Surveillance video reviewed in the investigation reportedly showed Charles and Laminia standing outside the driveway of his Hartford Court home. As Charles approached the porch, he turned and Laminia reportedly moved towards her father and fired a shot at him. Investigators have not yet released any information about the motive behind the investigation.
An arrest warrant was issued for Laminia Holt on Monday. No court dates have yet been scheduled for the case, according to Missouri court records.
