Previously on FBI Season 4 Episode 9, Rina Trenholm was shot on her doorstep while standing next to Agent Valentine seconds after they kissed! The team learns that the shooter is an artificial intelligence kill box mounted on a street pole equipped with facial recognition software that targets all FBI agents and their families. Jubal was only spared because the kill box gun was jammed.
Their investigation has brought the team back to their arch nemesis, Antonio Vargas! From prison, he hires high-tech gunners to kill the Feds. Vows to never stop hunting them, avenging his family that was killed after they captured him…
Warning… Vandals below!
Above FBI Season 4 Episode 10, a couple visits a jewelry store. The owner knew the man well and beckoned him with a smile. He hands him a box and the man turns to his woman and begins to propose as the three gunmen explode into crates that break the store and take the jewelry. The owner pulled out a gun and the gunner shot him and the woman- kill them both!
When Agents Bell and Wallace arrive on the scene, they learn that the robbery went wrong. Three attackers dropped two victims; Gus Hill, the store owner, and Melody Wilmont, who used to work for DHS. Her credentials are what flagged the Feds. The only witness was a man trying to propose in a jewelry store, though he couldn’t describe much of the masked men.
The store has GPS tracking watches for decoys that the team stole, and the team quickly tracked them down. The watch was exchanged for a street corner drug dealer for a bag of cocaine. He remembers the disc because it starts with “DMX” which can be remembered later legendary rapper. That leads them to a man named Kimble. The staff visited his pawn shop and found him murdered.
Further investigation led the team to surveillance video and a teenager, Jamal Carter, bringing a stolen watch box into a pawn shop.
Agents Bell and Wallace visited the foster home where Jamal was registered but she dissuaded them initially because she did not believe in the young man’s actions. She helps them and informs them that Jamal went through a bad period growing up and deserves a second chance. He lost his parents and his father was killed by the police on Christmas Eve. They picked him up at his workplace and brought him in for questioning.
He testified that he received the box from his adoptive brother Kevin, who said he had found the watches in an alley. Jamal’s alibi has been checked. Though the Feds don’t believe he simply found luxury watches in an alley for them to dig deeper. They suspect his adopted brother since they found the watches; Kevin, Demarcus, and Tyler could be involved somehow. Castille wants stronger evidence to go on.
They ask Jamal to wear a rope. He went to the house to get information about his adopted brothers. Jamal was caught rummaging through Kevin’s possessions. Kevin is being watched admit the stolen jewelry.
Suddenly, the audio and video feeds are turned off just as the group prepares to convict themselves of murder. Jamal leaves and Agent Bell toasts him about the coincidence. Agent Wallace cools her down and tries to get a subpoena for possession and solve the case to get evidence of the murder. Then the team broke the house and everyone was gone. Bell felt Jamal played them.
Taking care of the militia
When they sweep the house, they see a room with an arsenal of ammunition. The adoptive father, Percy Jones, was the center of attention. The team follows Percy and three older men (except Jamal.) Wallace and Bell press Jamal for more information but he keeps his mouth shut. Wallace asked Bell if she could talk to Jamal alone. He let something slide when he said The crew didn’t abandon him.
Throughout the case, Wallace showed mercy to a Black teenager who was put in a bad situation. Bell even talked to Scola about Wallace’s behavior and he knew what was going on…
Wallace finds a banknote in the trash and suspects the group is robbing a bank on their way out of town. The Feds worked quickly and tracked them down. They arrive in time to be forced out of the bank, otherwise the hostages risk injury. The FBI was forced to step back and regroup.
The FBI tactical team was located outside the bank, ready to snipe if any. Even though they were hidden from the bank’s tinted windows. There are more than a dozen hostages in the bank. Suddenly, The shooters fired shots towards the ceiling and the team had to act fast. Since the line of fire was thwarted, they sought de-escalation tactics.
Wallace tried to talk to Percy, but he wouldn’t listen. Suddenly, they threw smoke grenades outside and pushed the hostages out. Demarcus and Tyler ran but OA and Scola caught them. Percy and Kevin try to get out the back door but are caught by Bell and Wallace.
Percy won’t give up his gun. Kevin gets on his knees and begs the agents not to shoot him. Percy was agitated but Wallace managed to talk and arrest him.
Later, Bell pulled Wallace aside to chat about what Scola had told him. The police who killed Jamal’s father, Wallace seven years ago when she was a cop. Bell comforts her, telling her it was a legitimate shooting. Wallace felt guilty that she was partly responsible for making Jamal an orphan.
Wallace talked to Jamal and he apologized for lying to her because of his adoptive family. He just wanted to fit in. He told her that he wished he could start over one day and do different options. However, she agrees with him on her own choice…
