“Father Time may be undefeated, but he hasn’t met LeBron James yet!”: A highlight from the Lakers’ win over the Dallas Mavericks shows how little the 4-time MVP has lost sportingly

LeBron James is one of the most consistent athletes in any sport – there’s no doubt about it.

In the first quarter of the Dallas vs Los Angeles game, LeBron James showed the world why the “wash-up” story would never apply to him. He went inside a given block as a keeper, but his head was at the level of the belt. James achieved the same jump exactly 12 years ago, in a game against the Portland Trailblazer.

12 years ago, King James was a track athlete at the age of 24. What he was doing then, he is still doing now, maybe even better. However, people still call him dust of life. If anyone wanted to build a statue for LeBron, it would be one of his chases.

LBJ made an amazing comeback from injury, scoring 30 points to double the lead for fun. He was voted Western Conference Player of the Week, all when there was a blast on the field. He is currently enjoying his best season overall since his first season with the Lakers.

LeBron James will definitely be missed when he retires from the tournament

People literally waited 19 years to finally say that LeBron James is not the best player in the NBA anymore. That’s like watching FRIENDS play over and over again for so long that you eventually get bored calling it the best sitcom you’ve seen. There’s an incredible double standard when it comes to LeBron James – and it’s not even close to that of any other player.

We commend the likes of Andre Iguodala and Carmelo Anthony for only continuing to play in the league 19 years later. People praised Dirk Nowitzki, Kobe Bryant and Vince Carter for staying in the league for more than 20 years. But the year after LeBron turns 20, people won’t give him the credit he deserves. That’s definitely because he calls himself GOAT after winning the title with the Cavs.

Not a single man is turning 37 in a few days and still giving MVP numbers for fun is obvious. Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith wanted to push his story to completion, but they didn’t realize he’d kept them relevant all these years. Their strange actions, constant scolding even though he is producing at the highest level at this age should not be forgotten.

For young players who have just been promoted or are about to enter, LeBron James is like a god among mortals. He has the same impact on players as Michael Jordan did in the 90s-2000s. Malik Monk even said it, verbatim.
