As skies cleared and humidity dropped overnight it set the stage for a fantastic sunrise this morning as temperatures started the day in the 50’s to low 60’s. As the sun prevails throughout the day, temperatures warm up to the low to mid 80s inland and near the 80s on the coast before a sea breeze pushes temperatures back into the 70s. All in all a fantastic early summer day. Enjoy!
While tomorrow won’t be quite as warm, low humidity continues, as do dry skies, as temperatures run in the low 70s coastal to almost 80 inland.
Thursday will offer a mix of sun and clouds and while most of the day will be dry some isolated showers/storms are possible later in the day. That being said, most if not all of the first round of the US Open will not be affected by storms.
Friday, however, could be a different story. As humidity and warmth increase ahead of a cold front, there will be ample humidity and instability to fuel scattered afternoon thunderstorms.
Behind that front we’ll cool down and go back to the 70’s for the weekend. It will also be windy, with gusts of 25-30mph on Saturday and around 20-25mph on Sunday. Rain is limited but a few isolated showers/storms cannot be ruled out on Saturday afternoon.
