The unconfirmed redesign appeared on 4chan and was mocked by Pokemon lovers on Reddit.

Many believe that it could be a fake.

But it’s so absurd, some would love it if it was real.

“Words can’t describe how much I want this to be real when it’s very, very fake,” said one user.

“I never wanted a fake leak to be this real. I hope they find it and steal it,” commented another.

“So silly I love it please be real,” added a third.

The sketch claims that the iconic creature could become a ground- and water-type Pokemon.

The leak comes amid reports that the free-to-play Pokemon Unite game may soon be down for new content.

Legendary Pokemon like Zapdos, Articuno, and Regigigas will reportedly be included.
