Family members remain shocked and saddened after the death of a woman in an accident in Miami Gardens

MIAMI GARDENS, Florida. – The family of a woman who died in an accident en route to receiving dialysis treatment is still coming to terms with the sudden and tragic loss.

Sharon Small died in a rollover in Miami Gardens earlier this week.

Police say a speeding car hit the ambulance Small was riding in. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the van was flown to a nearby hospital.

Small’s family says she lived a quiet life and they are upset that a reckless driver killed her.
