Fairfield crash; The 13-year-old boy allegedly led police in the chase before the car rolled

A 13-year-old boy is said to have escaped police in a chase before crashing and overturning in western Sydney on Wednesday morning.

Police said they tried to stop a Volkswagen sedan on Horsley Drive in Fairfield around 2.30am.

The driver reportedly failed to stop the car and police began chasing the vehicle, which collided and rolled onto the curb.

According to the police, the 13-year-old driver fled the car with two passengers. The boy was arrested nearby and is being questioned by the police.

The two passengers were not found as police continue to investigate.
