Emoji reactions on Android

WhatsApp has been noticed rolling out this feature to more users.

Your handset may already have emoji reaction capabilities.

To check this, hold down a message and when emojis appear, you can click on them to react to the text.

This feature appeared on iOS long before Android.

Earlier this month, WhatsApp announced that it was “slowly rolling out” the ability to add more people to groups.

This is useful for coordinating large events.

WhatsApp said in a blog post: “One of the top requests we’ve received time and time again is the option to add more people to a chat, so we’re slowly rolling out the ability to add up to 512 people to a group now.

“Building private and safe communities takes work, and we believe this series of improvements will help people and groups stay close together.”

WhatsApp is reportedly working on a feature that will allow you to leave a group chat without notifying everyone in the group.

This could save you an embarrassment or a fight.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is testing a feature that will only notify you and the group admins when you leave the group.

It’s unclear when this feature will be available to the masses, but it’s under development in WhatsApp’s beta version.
