“Everybody Still Has PTSD From COVID From Last Season”: Steph Curry Because of Absurd Player Count in Health and Safety Protocols After Warriors Win Against Celtics

Steph Curry talks about the players still reeling from a risky COVID season from last year when the Warriors beat the Celtics.

Steph curry admits he went a bit too far with wanting to break the all-time 3-pointer record, leading to some underperforming performances. He ended up stepping away from his MVP self for about a week of gaming to try to beat Ray Allen but doing so at Madison Square Garden seems to have put him back on track.

The Golden State Warriors had enjoyed a quality win over the Boston Celtics earlier as Steph Curry scored 30 points from 21 shots from the field. While it wasn’t his most productive night, he did take some of the biggest shots of the night, including a clutch float.

Fortunately for both the Warriors and Celtics, neither team has had a problem with players being sidelined because of the Health and Safety Protocols.

The same cannot be said for teams like the Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, and many others like COVID-19 to go on a rampage once again, much to Curry’s dismay.

The fact that players are constantly missing games due to Health and Safety Protocols is a sour sight for anyone. Last season saw the NBA conduct more than half of their games without fans in the arena while also having players sidelined due to the aforementioned protocols.

Playing without fans on the field is quite unprecedented and Steph Curry understands that. When asked about the sudden influx of players into these protocols, he spoke of the players still suffering from PTSD from the ’21 season.

“Obviously I think there’s a little bit of PTSD from everyone about what we went through last year, the variations and all that. So we’re trying to make sure that research and experts come first. I hope that we do the right thing, whatever that means. ”
