Erik ten Hag tells Man Utd to beat Barcelona and Arsenal against Ruben Neves | Soccer

Erik ten Hag has commissioned Manchester United are reportedly set to beat Barcelona and Arsenal in a deal for Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.
Ten Hag has been in the Old Trafford hot spot for less than a week but has already identified a number of targets ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
The Dutch coach, who won the Eredivisie with Ajax last season, is looking to sign a new striker, midfielder and centre-back and has identified Neves as a top target.
Portugal international Neves has played more than 200 games for Wolves and has been a key player at Molineux since joining from Porto in 2017 for £16m.
Manchester United initially expressed interest in signing Neves while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was in charge and considered a move for the 25-year-old in January.
According to The Sun, Ten Hag have urged United to reignite interest and the Premier League giants will now make a final push in an attempt to secure a deal.
Wolves valued Neves at around £40m at the start of the year but now want close to £50m for the Portuguese star.
His deal at the Midlands club runs until 2024 but Neves has been reluctant to sign a new contract as he tries to secure a big move.
After Wolves’ final game of the season, Neves suggested he was open to leaving the club this summer.
He said: “The only thing I can tell you at the moment is that everyone knows what football is about, what our lives are about. Our career is really short and we have to take the chances we have.
“We all have dreams and we have to live those dreams in a short amount of time. Let’s see what happens, I can’t say too much about it.’
