Elon Musk reveals desire to be “saved by Jesus” while praising religion in resurfaced interview

ELON Musk is known for being outspoken, but he doesn’t often comment on religion.
In an interview with Christian satirical site Babylon Bee, the billionaire revealed his stance on Christianity and his desire for salvation.

The clip was recently resurfaced by CNS News after causing a stir in December.
The billionaire expresses several views in the interviewincluding that he would not say no to being saved by Jesus.
Prior to Musk’s interview with Babylon Bee, SpaceX’s CEO had said he was not religious.
He is often called an atheist, which makes the late 2021 interview even more interesting.

Musk was interviewed at Tesla headquarters in Austin, Texas.
When asked, “We were wondering if you could do us a quick favor and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior?”
The billionaire replied, “I mean, let’s just say I agree with the principles that Jesus advocated and that there is great wisdom in the teachings of Jesus and I agree with those teachings.”
He added, “Love your neighbor as yourself is very important.”
And: “As Einstein would say, I believe in the god Spinoza.”
Baruch Spinoza was a 17th-century Dutch philosopher who believed that if there was a God, then the God was not an individual but rather the laws of the universe.
Despite that thought, Musk did not exclude Jesus or accept being saved.

He said, “Well, but hey, if Jesus saves people, I won’t stand in his way.
“I will, sure, I will be saved – why not?”
