EastEnders spoilers: Mitch accuses Karen of letting Chantelle die

When the truth about Gray Atkins’ (Toby-Alexander Smith) reign of terror in EastEnders is exposed, relief at his being brought to justice gives way to guilt and guilt among the residents of Albert Square.
Should they have realized what was going on?
Could they have done anything to stop Gray?
The Taylors feel the strain just like everyone else as they grapple with the pain of discovering the full truth of the suffering Chantelle endured at the hands of Grey.
When Mitch (Roger Griffiths) thinks it’s time to tell Mack (Isaac Lemonius) and Mia (Mahalia Malcolm) the truth about Gray and Chantelle, Karen (Lorraine Stanley) gets overwhelmed by the nagging conversation and she has to hurry room.
Mitch also struggles talking to Mack and Mia, and Keegan (Zack Morris) has to step in and take over the difficult conversation. Mitch is devastated to realize he hasn’t done enough to protect his daughter.
In his grief, instead of being united with Karen, he lashes out at her, blaming her for not noticing the signs that Gray was abusing Chantelle.
His words hit Karen to the core and she throws him out, devastated that he could blame her.
