It’s undeniable that Linda Carter’s (Kellie Bright) return to EastEnders made a massive impression and it was great to see her back in Albert Square. But there’s one place she’s always belonged – and that’s the Queen Vic.
In upcoming episodes, she will return to her rightful place behind the bar, pouring beer in true Walford landlady tradition.
The move comes after an argument at the coffee shop between Linda, Honey (Emma Barton) and Kat (Jessie Wallace). Stacey (Lacey Turner) warns Linda that she needs to fix herself, and Linda makes the decision to return to serving customers at the Queen Vic.
While in some ways the Vic may be the best place for Linda, in other ways it’s the worst place she could be. With her alcoholism out of control lately, is a pub really a sane place for her? Nancy (Maddy Hill) is wary and asks Frankie (Rose Ayling-Ellis) to keep an eye out for her while she and Zack (James Farrar) look for a restaurant to shop at.
Will Linda be able to resist the temptation of being surrounded by alcohol, especially when Mick (Danny Dyer), Janine (Charlie Brooks) and Ollie (Harry Farr) return from their vacation?
When she sees the man she always loved play happy families with her son and the devious Janine Butcher, Linda tests her absolute limits – but will she give up?
