Duxbury ghost train accident kills one – Boston News, Weather, Sports

DUXBURY, MASS. (WHDH) – A wrong-way driver hit another car head-on in Duxbury on Tuesday night, state police said.

Shortly after 9 p.m., a wrong-way driver collided with another car on Route 3 near exit 20. Officers immediately reported serious injuries and later announced that one person had died.

There were two SUVs at the scene, both with severe damage. Local fire, police and state police crews were all present, urging people to avoid the area.

Due to the severity of the crash, the public prosecutor’s office has now taken over the investigation.
