Dry Tortugas National Park is closed, nearly 300 migrants land in two days

KEY WEST, Fla. – Dry Tortugas National Park will be temporarily closed on Tuesday.
Officials said nearly 300 migrants had arrived at the park over the past two days.
Officials said law enforcement and medical personnel would examine the migrants and transport them to Key West.
Local 10 News recently had exclusive access to a special team from US Customs and Border Protection as the number of migrant landings on the islands west of Key West has increased.
In another incident, authorities in the Florida Keys 160 asylum seekers met On Sunday.
As of late Sunday afternoon, the Border Patrol had responded to 10 migrant landings since midnight.
