DraftKings EPL DFS squad selection (Midweek 17) – English Premier League

Welcome back to “The Kick-Off”! We’ll go for it again, though, which comes with some very interesting prices. We will have another means of blocking 3 mini games starting from 2:30pm EST no favorites. The nearest favorite will be Burnley +105, followed by Arsenal +112. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has returned to haunt our beloved sports and it is making squad building difficult with last-minute updates. Make sure to stay up to date and also join the conversation to get started!

With just three games, random pricing, and COVID-19, coming up with a winning lineup will be tough and requires the best forms of creativity when it comes to rostering. With that being said, don’t be afraid to feel extremely uncomfortable building the line.

Warm-up match – EPL’s 17th match

Vegas Odds of the Day

[H] Brighton & Hove Albion (+130) vs Wolverhampton [A] (+260): Total: 2o

Both clubs are masters this season and they are also near the bottom of the table in terms of goals per game. This matchup looks like the least likely to produce fireworks and it won’t help that the Wolves will arrive at AMEX without Jimenez, who received a red card over the weekend. With both clubs struggling to score goals, this increasingly points towards a solid point for each team.

Expected results: 1-1

Cash / GPP:

M/F: Total ($8.1k), Trossard ($7.5K)

GPP: Maupay ($7.7 thousand), Sanchez ($4.9 thousand), Mwepu ($4.1 thousand)

Cash / GPP:

D: Marcal ($3.9k)

M/F: Moutinho ($4.3 thousand)

GPP: Traore ($6.3 thousand), Hee-Chan ($4.1 thousand), Sa ($4.6 thousand), Trincao ($3.4 thousand)

[H] Burnley (+105) vs [A] Watford (+260): Total: 2 1/2u

Both the Clarets and the Hornets have struggled to attack towards the end of the game and Watford themselves are on a four-game losing streak. Burnley have been fine overall this season, but they continued to push their targets at the last minute, turning what would have been a win into a draw. Surprisingly, they also have the best average at Turf Moor this season. With Maxwell Cornet missing this meeting, the visitors have a chance to take all 3 points.

Expected results: 1-0 Watford

Cash / GPP:

M/F: McNeil ($8.5k), Westwood ($5.7k)

GPP: Gudmundsson ($5.8 thousand), Taylor ($5.2 thousand), Timber ($5 thousand)

Cash / GPP:

M/F: Cleverley ($5.6k)

GPP: Dennis ($9.3 thousand), King ($6.6 thousand), Bachmann ($4.3 thousand), Pedro ($3.8 thousand)

[H] Crystal Palace (+125) vs [A] Southampton (+245) Total: 2 1/2u

Southampton will travel again as they hope to end a three-game losing streak where they have been trailed 9-1 by the likes of Norwich, Liverpool and Arsenal. Meanwhile, Palace just beat Everton at the weekend with a score of 3-1 and they continue to present a vastly improved squad under Viera. With the away team missing both starting strikers and Palace finding their form, it is hard to deny the home team’s three complete points.

Expected results: 2-0 Crystal Palace

Cash / GPP:

G: Guaita ($5.3 thousand)

M/F: Gallagher ($9.8k), Zaha ($9.1k)

GPP: Benteke ($8.3k), Ayew ($7.6k), Schlupp ($3.2k)

Cash / GPP:

M/F: Ward-Prowse ($7.8k)

GPP: Redmond ($6.7 thousand), Elyounoussi ($4.6 thousand), Livramento ($4.5 thousand), Walcott ($3.7 thousand)

[H] Arsenal (+112) vs [A] West Ham United (+227) Total: 2 1/2o

The home team is in incredible form at home recently, winning the last 5/6 matches, despite weak opponents Aston Villa, Leeds, Watford, Newcastle United and Southampton with a total score of 11-1. . The Hammers have been unsuccessful on the road, however, they have proved difficult to beat Manchester City (lost 2-1) and they have beaten Chelsea 3-2 in the last five matches. It will be the toughest game of some time for Arsenal and the Hammers may have what it takes to beat them at the Emirates.

Expected results: 2-1 West Ham

Cash / GPP:

D: Tomiyasu ($4.6 thousand)

M/F: Odegaard ($8K), Saka ($8K)

GPP: Smith Rowe ($8.6k), Lacazette ($5.8k), Ramsdale ($5.1k)

Cash / GPP:

G: Fabianksi ($4.4 thousand)

M/F: Bowen ($9.6k)

GPP: Antonio ($8.1k), Fornals ($6.9k), Vlasic ($5.7k), Soucek ($3.9k)

Proposed Corner implementers:

Brighton & Hove Albion: Gross

Wolverhampton: Moutinho

Burnley: McNeil / Westwood

Watford: Cleverley / Hernandez

Crystal Palace: Gallagher

Southampton: Ward-Prowse

Arsenal: Odegaard / Saka

West Ham United: Bowen / Cresswell
