Donald Trump shares letters from Princess Diana, Oprah, more in book

Former President Donald Trump releases a new book featuring private letters from the late Princess Diana, Oprah Winfrey, Hillary Clinton and many more famous people.
Letters to Trump will be the ex-president’s second official book since leaving office. It will contain 150 letters, including correspondence with former Presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton, as well as North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
“A colorful photo book captures the incredible and often private correspondence between President Donald J. Trump and some of the biggest names in history over the past 40 years!” says the book’s publisher, Winning Team Publishing.
“From President Richard Nixon to Princess Diana, and from Hillary Clinton to Chairman Kim Jong Un, no book offers a comparable insight into history LETTERS TO TRUMP!‘
The book of letters handpicked by Trump will be released on April 25. No details were released about the letters involving Princess Diana, who Trump aggressively pursued following their divorce.
Trump wrote that he still thinks Winfrey is “amazing” but that this is not reciprocated.
“Unfortunately, she never spoke to me again after I announced myself for president,” he wrote.
Winfrey wrote a letter to Trump after sending her an excerpt of what is believed to be his 2000 book The America We Deserve. In it, Trump wrote that his first choice as vice presidential candidate was Winfrey. He called her intelligent, caring and an inspiration for millions of women to learn and take charge of their lives.
“If I can’t get Oprah, I’d like someone like her,” he wrote at the time.
Winfrey replied: “I have to tell you that your comments have made me a little teary.”
“It’s one thing to try to live a life of integrity — but another to make people like you aware of it,” she continued.
The book will also correspond with former US Senator Ted Kennedy, former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo, professional golfer Arnold Palmer, TV host Jay Leno, American actress Liza Minnelli, TV host Regis Philbin and others.
“Letters to Trump, reveals a portion of the incredible private collection of correspondence between President Donald J. Trump and the countless world leaders, celebrities, athletes and business leaders who shaped the United States and the world!” declared winner Team Publishing.
Winning Team Publishing, which bills itself as “the nation’s leading conservative publisher” on its website, was also the publisher of Trump’s 2021 book, Our Journey Together. That illustrated book grossed Trump more than $20 million. The publishing house was co-founded by Trump’s eldest son Donald Trump Jr.
Letters to Trump costs $99 or $399 for a signed copy.
The new book isn’t the first product Trump has created to highlight his career accomplishments since announcing his 2024 presidential candidacy in November. In December, Trump released a series of NFTs of himself that quickly sold out.
