Donald Trump is posting on Facebook for the first time in a two-year ban

Former President Donald Trump has gone live with his first Facebook post since 2021.
‘I’M BACK!’ Trump wrote in the Post on Friday afternoon.
It was accompanied by a 12-second Trump campaign video from 2024.
“Sorry to keep you waiting, complicated business, complicated business,” Trump said in the clip when he was first elected in the 2016 presidential election.
In this case, it referred to Trump’s two-year absence from Facebook. He was banned from the platform after the January 6 riot in the Capitol.
His post came more than a month after Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram, restored its accounts.
Trump has 34 million followers on his Facebook page.
His last post before Friday was on January 6, 2021.
“I urge everyone in the US Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the law and our awesome Men and Women in Blue. Thank you very much!’ Trump wrote hours after he held a rally encouraging his fans to fight the election results.
The Facebook post came hours after YouTube announced it had restored Trump’s channel after a two-year ban for violating its policies by sharing content that incited violence.
