Jarvis Landry Fantasy Football Standings NFL DFS Team Picks

The Cleveland Browns are facing a major COVID-19 outbreak in their push for the playoffs for a second straight season. Unfortunately, the list of affected players has now grown to 20 players!

A short week made it difficult for players to pass the negative tests needed to be allowed to play as the 7-6 Cleveland Browns host the 6-7 Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. KST.

One of the transmitters to test positive is the wide receiver Jarvis Landry, who is the heart and soul of the Browns. This Saturday, the Browns can’t be without their leader in a must-win game.

Is Jarvis Landry playing this week against the Raiders? To be Donovan Pe People’s-Jones worth picking and should imaginary managers start him at Week 15? Below, we take a quick look at the updated status of Jarvis Landry and attempt to answer these questions and their imaginary implications.

UPDATE: It was announced on Friday afternoon that Raiders-Browns game has been postponed until Monday due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Stay tuned for any changes while players are active, and deliver COVID-19 protocol in time for Monday.

Did Jarvis Landry play at week 15 against the Las Vegas Raiders?

Widespread recognizer Jarvis Landry and right guard Wyatt Teller have been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced, along with a tight finish Austin Hooper, left-handling Jedrick Wills, full-back Takk McKinley and guard Drew Forbes.

While the players are pushing for the rescheduled game, there is no word from the NFL league office that there has been discussion regarding pushing the game to another date.

Jarvis Landry was asked if the NFL should postpone Saturday’s contest, and the former LSU recipient said it “shouldn’t even be a question.”

It can be doubtful that we will see Landry on the field on Saturday. The Browns players are dead, and it is easier to list players who will play than those who have been absent.

The loss of Landry hurts an already difficult offense for the Browns. He leads the Browns with 38 hits from 397 yards, but the Browns are mostly the 19th-placed-fault lead in the league.

Landry is Baker Mayfieldis the main target, and his 28.4% target rate is currently eighth in the league. However, as much as Browns fans want Kevin Stefanski to run on all fronts, that won’t work in the current NFL.

Who will fill the void of missing Jarvis Landry this week?

Is Donovan People-Jones worth getting and starting to give up the ropes?

Donovan Pe People’s-Jones led the team in receiving in a Week 14 win over the Baltimore Ravens. He caught five of seven targets in 90 yards and developed chemistry with Baker Mayfield. The former Michigan standout flashed into the big upturn, coming in fifth with an average target distance of 15.8.

Both Baker Mayfield and Case Keenum also on the COVID-19 list, leaving the 3rd quadrant Nick Mullens as the expected starter. He’ll be looking for a companion Saturday, so with increased playtime and goals, DPJ could be a low-end WR3 pick for fantasy managers in Week 15.

Those who deal with roster troubles and need a wide receiver can go ahead and take the DPJ off the immunity wire and start him, but keep expectations with such a slim Browns lineup and a set The third string quarterback is likely to lead the charge.
