For beloved Disney fans, a trip to Disneyland might sound like the perfect place to get engaged.
But a couple’s big magical moment at Disneyland Paris was ruined by an “evil” employee.
The proposal initially went very well, with a viral video showing the man getting on one knee ready to pop the question.
But as he holds the ring up, a Disney employee suddenly runs over and snatches the box right out of the man’s hand.
The online post is captioned: “POS ruined my best friend’s moment. He asked permission beforehand.’
After taking the ring from the man’s hand, the Disneyland employee leads the couple off the platform down to a metal gate and says, “Yeah, that’s great, but it gets even better over here.”
After the abrupt end of the fairytale marriage proposal, boos could be heard from viewers.
The Reddit user who shared the video claimed his friend asked a Disney employee for permission to apply on the platform, and she gave him the green light.
But then the man ran towards him and grabbed the ring.
Many were outraged by the pair, and one branded the employee “a little bit nasty” for spoiling the moment.
Disney has since apologized to the couple for the way the incident was “handled.”
A spokesman said: “We regret how this was handled. We apologized to the couple involved and offered to make it right.
