Dimitar Berbatov’s Premier League predictions including Liverpool vs Tottenham

Another big game round is taking place this weekend (Picture: Getty)

Manchester City and Liverpool head into another high-stakes Premier League weekend knowing any slip-up could cost them the title.

Liverpool can move back up to the top with a win on Saturday night but face arguably the toughest test of the run-in as they welcome Tottenham to Anfield with Harry Kane and Heung-min Son in deadly form.

After their midweek Champions League heartbreak, City are regrouping at home against Newcastle United on Sunday.

It’s another potentially crucial weekend at the bottom of the table, with Everton and Leeds United facing tough tests on the road against Leicester City and Arsenal, while Burnley will look to continue their run at home against Aston Villa.

Brentford vs Southampton

Southampton v Crystal Palace - Premier League

Both teams don’t really play for much, games like this can either be pretty boring or very entertaining, I hope for the latter. I think Brentford will beat Southampton on that one. forecast 2-1

Betfair Exchange odds: Brentford 5/4, tie 13/5, Southampton 5/2

Burnley vs Aston Villa

Watford v Burnley - Premier League

Burnley have won their last three games (Picture: Getty)

This is another massive game for Burnley. They have a great chance now to stay up there, they have that fire in them and they can cause trouble for the opposition. They have a lot of momentum with them at the moment and I expect that to continue into this game. forecast 1-0

Betfair Exchange odds: Burnley 12/5, tie 12/5, Aston Villa 7/5

Chelsea vs Wolves

Everton vs Chelsea - Premier League

Wolves have been declining lately, they once pushed for the top 4 but they’ve faded. Chelsea are in the FA Cup final, I think they will keep an eye on it but I still think they have enough quality to win the game. forecast 2-0

Betfair Exchange Odds: Chelsea 4/11, Tie 9/2, Wolves 10/1

Crystal Palace v Watford

Southampton v Crystal Palace - Premier League

Palace looking for a strong end to the season (Image: Getty)

In a game like this when relegation is imminent you play for your pride, I can’t imagine Watford getting any of that and they know they’re pretty much down now. forecast 3-1

Betfair Exchange odds: Crystal Palace 8/11, tie 16/5, Watford 9/2

Brighton v Man Utd

Manchester United v Brentford - Premier League

United were far better in their win over Brentford (Image: Getty)

It’s going to be an interesting game, top 4 seems like an impossible task, United have a very very slim chance, they have to win their remaining games. Brighton are playing good football but United are looking to end the season strong. forecast 1-2

Betfair Exchange odds: Brighton 9/5, tie 5/2, Man United 7/4

Liverpool vs Tottenham

Oh my God. If anyone can help City, it’s Spurs. Conte’s side are chasing the top 4 and need to take the points. Liverpool also have two cup finals ahead of them, they will have that in mind, they will think about what is their priority. There may be a surprise here. forecast 2-2

Betfair Exchange odds: Liverpool 1/2, tie 4/1, Spurs 13/2

Norwich vs West Ham

Eintracht Frankfurt v West Ham United: Semifinals, Second Leg - UEFA Europa League

West Ham will suffer after losing their semi-final and they will want to bounce back strongly. This is a good game to forget your disappointment. forecast 0-2

Betfair Exchange odds: Norwich 4/1, tie 3/1, West Ham 4/5

Leicester vs Everton

Everton vs Chelsea - Premier League

Everton have to win this. They’ve recently beaten Man United and Chelsea and that’s huge. Leicester had a tough game against Roma and they missed out on a place in the Europa Conference final so they will be down. Everton and Lampard have a moment and they need the win, I think they’ll get another one here. forecast 0-1

Betfair Exchange odds: Leicester 7/4, tie 12/5, Everton 15/8

Arsenal vs Leeds

Arsenal are in a good moment, Arteta has renewed his contract which will add a feel-good factor to the place. Leeds are in danger and I expect this to be a tough afternoon for them. forecast 2-0

Betfair Exchange odds: Arsenal 1/2, tie 4/1, Leeds 13/2

This is the game of the weekend for me. Here we find out what City are made of, it’s a critical juncture for players to bounce back from that devastating defeat in Madrid. You just have to win, no matter how. forecast 3-1
