Development: Smoke rises from a large fire in northern St. Louis County

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Firefighters were called to a major blaze in northern St. Louis County on Thursday. A liquefied asphalt tank is on fire on James S. McDonnell Boulevard near Lindbergh Boulevard. A thin line of thick smoke can be seen rising miles from Spirit Asphalt.
