DeSantis responds after Trump stabs him on Truth Social

Gov. Ron DeSantis commented on former President Donald Trump’s jabs at him on Truth Social on Wednesday.

“Why did DeSantis vote against Trump’s border wall? We need some explanation here,” wrote another user, to which Trump replied, “Wow, if I knew I wouldn’t have backed him (and he should have finished the race 35 points down!)”

Trump also responded to a post on an article headlined, “DeSantis Says He’s ‘Glad’ Violent Trump Protesters Arrested.”

“What about ANTIFA & BLM, Ron?” wrote the former President.

During a news conference in Ocala on Wednesday, DeSantis said people made slanderous comments about him every day, that he’s in office and it’s just part of territory, adding that you have to have tough skin in this industry.

“I spend my time delivering results for the people of Florida and fighting Joe Biden,” he said. “This is how I spend my time. I don’t spend my time slandering other Republicans.”
