De’Aaron Fox beats Clutch Jumper to beat Chicago Bulls

As is the case with seemingly every Kings game, Sacramento’s visit to Chicago was decided in the last few seconds.
The Heart Kings can’t help but find themselves in tight games towards the end of this season, but the good news for them is that this has become the time when De’Aaron Fox is at his best. Fox went on Wednesday with the most points in clutch moments in the league (within five minutes of a game that’s within five points), and he added to his growing legend as a Chicago clutch shooter.
The reason Fox’s exploits were needed was because DeMar DeRozan scored a four-point game 114-110 with just under 12 seconds left when he was fouled on a questionable call at the top of the key while burying one three.
That four-point game tied the game and meant the Kings had to take a shot rather than just freeze things with free throws, and of course they turned to Fox, who stopped for three for Sacramento just before the buzzer 41st win to bring the season in style.
Fox finished the night with 32 points to lead the way for Sacramento as their balanced attack was otherwise enough to topple a Bulls team that lost 33 from DeRozan, 25 from Zach LaVine and 20 from Nikola Vucevic. With the Grizzlies winning and losing earlier in the evening, Sacramento even pulled out with Memphis for the 2-seed in the West, while Chicago slipped a half-game behind Washington in the race for the last play-in spot in the East with the loss.
