David Walliams is reportedly looking for love on celebrity dating app Raya.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge is reportedly using selfies of himself and his adorable Border Terriers, Bert and Ernie, to boost his chances on the exclusive members-only platform.
Raya is one of the most popular dating apps for the rich and famous, with stars like Ella Henderson and Simone Biles finding love on the site.
In a couple of snaps shared by The Sun, the comedian, 50, happily poses for the camera while rocking a red shirt, while another snap sees David in a black suit with a white pocket square completing the look.
While some believe the TV personality is simply expressing his love for his pets, others think the comic uses the phrase “dog is man’s best friend” to its advantage.
“Obviously David recognized that his cute pets had a certain appeal and made them the focal point of a lot of the pictures. You can barely see him in some of them,” a source told the publication.
David was previously married to model Lara Stone. The couple said “yes” in May 2010, and Lara gave birth to their son Alfred in 2013, who is currently David’s only child.
The couple initially agreed to a trial separation in early 2015, and before the end of the year, David filed for divorce, citing Lara’s “unreasonable behavior.”
At the time of the divorce, a source said: “Everyone thought the marriage was strong. David is used to using comedy to hide his feelings because that’s what he’s always done.
Speaking about his sexuality in 2013, he told the Radio Times: “I think it’s just about falling in love with the person and that really gets overlooked. I hate when people ‘confess’ or ‘reveal’ their sexuality, and things can change for people over the years.
“So it’s about the person, but I also think it goes beyond that. You don’t just fall in love with someone’s body, do you? You fall in love with someone’s soul, heart and mind.”
