Defending NBA champion Bobby Portis has criticized NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski for not tweeting about his participation in the league’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
The NBA has recently experienced an increase in the number of their players participating in the league’s health and safety protocols. Superstars like Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Giannis Antetokounmpo also joined this protocol, with several other players in the tournament.
There has been a situation where matches have been postponed because the teams did not have enough players on the official list. The unfortunate situation could cost the league commercially. Absent famous faces, the league could face a drop in TV ratings.
NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski is the leading trusted source when it comes to breaking news. Newspapers from ESPN employees carry a lot of goodwill and trust. Wojnarowski is considered by many to be one of the most authentic sources of information in the league.
Recently, Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis urged Wojnarowski not to post about his participation in the league’s health and safety protocols, to which NBA insiders had a witty reply.
Bobby Portis and Adrian Wojnarowski indulge in some Twitter jokes.
Wojnarowski is the seal of approval, when it comes to breaking NBA news. The sports columnist is the most wanted person, especially during off-season. Woj is the most trusted source when it comes to deals, free agency and contract renewals happening in the NBA.
So when Bucks forward Portis didn’t see him mentioned in the league’s health and safety protocols, he didn’t hesitate to call Woj on Twitter.
Damn Woj didn’t even report that I was in such a difficult health and safety process

Without a doubt, Portis was as funny as ever. The 26-year-old is a favorite with Bucks fans. Portis burst into the limelight in the 2021 playoffs when he replaced Giannis. Portis played a key role in the final of the congress during Greece Freak’s absence.
Portis’ tweet prompted Woj to respond to him, apologizing for the error with a hint of humour.
Sorry, People’s Champ. Get out early.

The People’s Champion recently signed a $9 million, two-year deal with the Bucks organization. Portis is currently averaging a double-double with 15.6 PPG and 9.0 RPG on 47.3% shot from the field. The Bucks are currently the 3rd seed at the eastern convention and one of the leading contenders.
With Khris Middleton, Giannis and Portis out, the defending champions find themselves in a difficult position. The Bucks recently signed DeMarcus Cousins to a one-year unsecured deal.
