Dad arrested live on TV after his young son came out of a flat gun

A father has been arrested after his four-year-old son was brandished live outside his home with a loaded handgun.
The reality TV show On Patrol: Live, which follows police officers on duty Saturday, aired footage from a neighbor’s ring doorbell cam of the gun-wielding youth in Beech Grove, Indiana.
The boy can be seen pulling the trigger at one point, but no bullets were fired, reports CNN. He didn’t seem hurt.
Police later seized a Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol. While there were no rounds in the chamber, there were 15 in the magazine.
The boy’s father, Shane Osborne, 45, was arrested on charges of neglect and is due to appear in court on Tuesday afternoon, according to the New York Post.
A neighbor had called 911 “and said she and her son saw the child alone in the hallway outside their unit and he was holding a gun and pointing it at her.”
Beech Grove Mayor Dennis Buckley said in a statement: “Like all of you, I am mortified and mortified by what happened and I am so grateful no one was hurt, especially the young child.
“I appreciate the quick action taken by Beech Grove Police to secure the small child and the weapon in question.
“I am asking that the Marion County Attorney’s Office work diligently to secure indictments and maximum criminal convictions for those responsible. Society should not accept less.”
