A video of a woman claiming a manager of Wendy’s accused her that her burger was raw in the middle has attracted over 600,000 views on TikTok.
The video posted by user Cortney (cortney0o0) shows interactions at two different locations by Wendy after the poster said she was unhappy with the order.
“Went to Wendy’s and got a frozen raw burger,” reads a text overlay on the video. “The manager said we were lying so we’re going back up. Went to the wrong Wendy’s.”
In the video, she explains to an employee at Wendy’s at another location that she called the original location about the allegedly frozen burger and was told, “I know you’re a liar, bring me the food back.” The employee then asked for it the receipt and made the order again for them even though the problem hadn’t happened at that place.
After receiving a corrected order, Cortney drove to Wendy’s location, which they called and asked for the manager, Dawn, who allegedly called her a “liar.”
She admitted to the manager that she called the wrong store. When she tried to tell the manager “from one manager to another” that it was inappropriate to accuse the customer of dishonesty, the manager closed the drive-through window and told them to have a good night.
The TikToker made it clear that they waited another 10 minutes at that window before being approached by the manager. When Dawn opens the window, Cortney tells her that she didn’t say what she’s the manager for and that Wendy’s manager wouldn’t have a job the next day.

Viewers were also frustrated with the manager’s behavior towards someone who had an issue with their order.
“The second location had all the settings as soon as they opened the window,” wrote one commenter.
“Wow, I used to be a fast food manager too,” said another viewer. “It’s rare, but sometimes unacceptable food turns out that way. She was unacceptable. Tell me she’s fired.”
“How disrespectful!” another wrote. “You were so calm and polite and she didn’t care. But that first girl is a QUEEN.”
Others praised the employee who caught up the order at the first location for handling the situation.
“Now that’s customer service,” wrote one user. “I’m glad she fixed her mess. (the first) now the Karen, she should be fired, hope it was worth it.”
“The girl who made you the burger was so sweet and so understanding,” commented another user.
“This girl is giving off such good vibes like she’s so cute,” wrote one viewer.
The Daily Dot contacted Cortney regarding the video via a comment on the video as other methods of communication could not be identified and via email to Wendy’s.
