Cristiano Ronaldo’s £1.7m Bugatti Veyron ‘involved in Mallorca crash’

A Cristiano Ronaldo supercar was reportedly involved in an accident on the island of Mallorca.
An employee of the Manchester United star is believed to be behind the wheel when the car crashed into a property in the east coast resort of Sa Coma.
The £1.7million luxury vehicle was shipped to the Spanish island alongside a Mercedes-Benz G-Class for the footballer to enjoy the summer holidays with the family.
The front of the Bugatti was damaged but the driver is believed to be unharmed after the crash happened around 11am local time this morning.
The police are currently investigating the incident.
Ronaldo flew to Mallorca on June 14 with his five children and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.
They rent a luxury home at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains and enjoy days on the footballer’s superyacht.
It’s the first time the couple has vacationed with their daughter Esmeralda, whose twin brother died in childbirth in April.
The family is expected to stay at the villa for another three to four days, which features a pool surrounded by palm trees, several hot tubs, a beach volleyball court and a mini soccer field.
Former team-mate of Manchester United frontman Sergio Ramos also chose the same property for a sun holiday with his family.
Ronaldo and his family enjoyed a holiday in Mallorca last summer, staying at the historic Manresa Castle – Castell de Manresa in Catalan Spanish – which costs £10,000 a night.
The seven bedroom beach villa was built in 1715 to protect the coast from attacks by the British who controlled Mallorca at the time.
Ronaldo and his girlfriend Georgina revealed their heartache at the death of their baby boy, describing it as “the greatest pain a parent can feel”.
“Only the birth of our little girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness,” the couple revealed.
