Blast Premier World Final

Best of 3 options

  • NaVi (-1200) vs Liquid (+600)
  • Gambit (-260) vs Hero (+190)

Captain play

Simple: Goat? That being said, he averaged 1.57 K/D in his final month of play with a crazy 0.93 KPR and a low 0.59 DPR. For more than two months, he had only one negative map. He also averages 23.2 lives per map, he will come and destroy the last tournament of the year and end with a bang. He will go crazy, but it risks fading to the point where if you don’t have him and he still eats the same, you won’t get charged. So go ahead and just lock him in your squad and make everything else work around him.

Sh1ro / Ax1le: This is definitely based on the site you choose to play on. Sh1ro is a great game on Fanduel for his price point, while we get a pretty good discount on Ax1le from sh1ro on DraftKings. I think a lot of people will be targeting sh1ro’s captain, so going Ax1le can generate pretty good leverage. Ax1le last month held 1.20 K/D at 0.76 KPR and 0.64 DPR. I see that he fights more which can lead to higher KPR but he will end up in more deaths than Sh1ro the AWPer who has 1.46 K/D with 0.82 KPR and 0.56 DPR is very low . Either of these two is a very good choice and should be heavily considered in your squad.

Other captains play in order of preference: Electronic, B1t, Refrezh (GPP), Hobbit

Value plays

Boombl4: I don’t think I’ve included Boombl4 in my posts before but he’s been playing really well over the past month. He finished the last tournament with 1.05 K/D and averaged .64 KPR and .61 DPR. It’s a small sample size but he’s played much better on LAN this year than he did online. He is the cheapest player on DK and also very cheap on FD. He’s definitely a pick on a slate that will be top-heavy and will most likely end up in a double sweep.

TeSeS: I think TeSeS has to find a way to be a big part of this attack tomorrow if they want to have any chance of winning this game let alone the map. And if you need a cheap and/or disposable music player for those of us who are using FD. TeSeS can be a player that can climb the ranks and score high. It’s definitely risky but given how heavy the rankings are, we might need a cheap match and even though Heroic doesn’t have stavn, I think this one is still closer than Liquid/NaVi. Refrezh is also a cheap pick and can be trusted a lot in this matchup. Like I said it’s risky but with stavn walking someone else has to step up, and I think TeSeS could be that guy.

Other values play in order of preference: Nafany, interz, Perfecto, Stewie2k (GPP / One-Off), Grim (PUNT)

Top Stack / Team’s Pick

Navi: I hope both of these games will end successfully. Unfortunately with stavn not playing for Heroic, I think their chances of winning against Gambit will be severely affected. So I think getting as much NaVi and Gambit might be necessary. NaVi is currently the best team in the world and I don’t see Liquid as the one to upset them. NaVi has won 10 games in a row and 2 of them are the best, 6 by sweep and the other two in 3 maps. S1mple is a lock and certainly a risky blur as he’s playing frantic at the moment and his ability to get lots of kills without dying makes him such a good player. Electronic and B1T are definitely a great pairing with s1mple. On Fanduel, I like Electronic, and on DraftKings, I like B1T due to the price. Perfecto and BoomBl4 are definitely the riskiest of the five but at least one of them is sure to play well if not both. Perfecto on Fanduel is the cheapest player on the network, which makes him great value. Perfecto is a bit pricey on DK, so going Boombl4 is definitely an option.

NaVi 2-0
Gambits 2-0
