Commerce Bank customers are reporting deposit and payment issues

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Commerce Bank customers are encouraged to log in and review their accounts.

Dozens of the bank’s customers reported deposit and payment problems on Friday morning.

Many customers said they contacted the bank after realizing their paychecks were not deposited into their accounts. They reported that some payment transactions were also not being processed.

In a statement to customers, Commerce Bank said it was aware of the issue and said it was an issue with the company’s nightly processing.

“We apologize for the inconvenience; we are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience; we know this has created challenges for our customers.” commercial bank posted on Facebook.

A spokesman for Commerce Bank said it resolved the issue around 1 p.m

It warned customers there could be brief interruptions to online banking and mobile banking logins when the company completes system processing on Friday.
