Cities with the fastest growing home prices in the St. Louis metropolitan area

It goes without saying that the coronavirus pandemic has unleashed a wave of uncertainty across countless industries, and no other market has felt its impact as severely as the real estate market.

The pandemic has become a driving force behind the ongoing housing boom, with high demand for vacation rentals and a limited supply of housing, prompting buyers and investors to raise prices on affordable homes, causing house prices to skyrocket . The ability to work remotely played a role in demand for vacation homes in mid-2020, as affluent Americans opted to weather the pandemic with more amenities and space away from dense urban areas.
