Chlöe shared that she does not have access to her own social media

Chlöe is still excited about the release of her debut solo album, In pieces. On the album, she balances confident bops with harrowing accounts of heartbreak and insecurity. Chlöe is no stranger to the spotlight, so it wasn’t hard for her to share those emotions.
But she has made it her mission to make everyday life easier with small things. In an interview on The Tamron Hall ShowShe announced that she has chosen not to have access to her own social media accounts.
“For a minute I removed all social media from my phone and just handed it over to my team,” she said. “Obviously I made the content, I came up with the captions and just sent them to them, but I ditched my social media because I recognized what people were saying.”
She continued, saying, “The negative things that people were saying about me affected me, and I realized whether I was going to go on stage or ‘if I do that, people will say that’, and me realized that I was changing myself for other people and their opinions and what they initially accused me of was not being myself and being forced, I adjusted to that because I was so preoccupied with what people were saying thinking about me but the second I deleted the apps on my phone I was so much clearer mentally because you are doing what makes you happy.”
As a result, she admitted she hadn’t seen much of the backlash regarding her controversial sex scene swarm.
