A father forced his 11-year-old son to play video games for 17 hours after catching him in bed with his cellphone.

The boy, from Shenzhen, China, said his father bumped him while he was playing on the device at 1am and pulled him out from under the covers.

The father — just called Mr. Huang — decided to initiate the cruel punishment instead of confiscating the phone.

Footage shows the battered boy in his pajamas being shaken awake to play after dozing off in his chair.

In a heartfelt note, the boy wrote: “So my dad found out. Then my father punishes me.

“Let me play enough. Play ad nauseam.’

He continued, “Well, I’ve been woken up several times. It’s gonna take all day anyway. From 1 a.m. to 6 p.m. Just played 17 hours.’

The father only called off the punishment when his son broke down in tears and agreed to a new pact limiting his playing time.

He filmed the lesson and shared it on Douyin – China’s version of TikTok – claiming he only did it as a last resort and discouraged other parents from doing it.
