A Chick-fil-A employee went viral on TikTok after uploading footage of herself preparing her own meal, which mixed the chain’s waffle fries and a shredded chicken fillet along with spicy sauces and ranch.
While there were many TikTokers who expressed that they wanted to try the “alternative chicken salad” that TikToker, Des (@destini.j), created, many were simply blown away by their excitement in the video.

In the clip, Des guides viewers through the process of preparing their specialty.
“I’ve got a medium skillet, I’ve got a spicy fillet, and I’ll slice that up and come back,” she says before slicing up the chicken.
Then she adds hot sauce instead of buffalo sauce, “because I think buffalo is like wing sauce in my brain,” she says. The TikToker then bites open several packets of hot sauce and begins drizzle them over her container of shredded chicken breasts and waffle fries.
Then she adds a packet each of Sriracha and Ranch to the bowl.
“If you’re counting calories, this isn’t the right meal for you,” she explains. “A lot of people were under my last video telling me how many calories I’m eating…sorry to tell you guys I don’t care.”
Once all of the contents are in the jar, she seals the jar and then begins to shake it vigorously, creating a “salad” of chopped spicy chicken, french fries, two different hot sauces, and ranch dressing.
“Someone called this the Kardashian shake, and I’ve never heard of it, but I laughed,” she says, before continuing to shake her meal and evenly distribute the sauces over the food she placed in the plastic container. “I thought it would be a teacher shake, you know, when your teacher brings salad to school,” she adds.
After shaking the container, she showed off the end result along with her dessert to go with the meal. “I also got ice cream and a cookie…so…eat with me…oh…my drink today is one-third powerade, one-third fruit punch, the rest soda,” she concludes. “I promise, it’s that good…”
Commenters who checked out Des’ TikTok said it was rude of others to comment on their calorie intake, while some shared helpful tips for making Chick-fil-A’s sauce packs easier to open.
“Why do people worry about SOMEONE ELSE’s calorie intake?” asked one user.
“I love people who just know what they like and have a certain way of liking it. I was always jealous because I don’t have one,” added another.
“Patch the tab where you open! Makes it easier!” a third suggested regarding the Chick-fil-A-Sauce packets.
Others shared jokes about Des’ meal hack.
“It’s a chicken salad,” joked one user.
“I really thought for a second you were going to add the ice cream,” wrote another.
