In a viral dating on TikTok posted this week, @__ nikk1 said that after a great first date, a man bailed on a second date and then told her that she took advantage of him financially.
After @__ nikk1 followed up on their second date plans, her date never responded. Then he sent her a text several days later without mentioning his unresponsiveness before. After she asked him what happened and why he didn’t respond, he said he didn’t feel urgent to see her again because she was “sorry.” [herself] when the check came for dinner and then also drink. “
“I hate when girls do that,” he texted @__ nikk1. “It was exceptionally rude and cheap; and really disrespectful and i feel like you really don’t care despite what i feel from you. “
She tells him that leaving him the check was not intentional and that she didn’t even realize she had done so. She also told viewers that she paid for her own ice cream on that day: “I wish you had exchanged that with me sooner if that was an issue so I could have set the record.” right away.”
He then told her that she “chosen the restaurant; order something [she] liked, and then never offered to pay for it. “
“He picked the restaurant and made a reservation,” @__ nikk1 said. “Of course I ordered what I liked. What will I do? Order something I don’t like? ”
The date also texted her that “just because [he] having a damn trusty trust fund “doesn’t mean he “likes to use it to cover other girls’ drinks”.
In a follow-up video, @__nikk1 shows text messages indicating the date she chose the restaurant and the couple discussing a second date.
“If you get these red flags from me,” she said, “and you think I “get up on purpose” and leave you the check, why would you want to try again?”
