ST. LOUIS-A new survey reveals the biggest barrier to buying an electric vehicle, and it’s not cost.
A consumer survey states that the logistics of getting the EV to charge is the number one concern people have when considering an EV.
The survey of 8,000 people said more than a third would buy one the next time they make a car purchase, but the main objections were charging logistics, the number of kilometers the vehicle can travel per charge, and costs and maintenance.
Younger males living in urban areas, who were highly educated and had high household incomes were the most willing to buy.
