Casual Kate Middleton giggles as she bakes platinum anniversary cake with Charlotte, George and Louis in jeans

SHE may be known for her more formal looks, but it seems Kate Middleton is just as happy in jeans as she proved today.

The Duchess of Cambridge shared sweet snaps taken in her kitchen enjoying a morning of baking with her three children, Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4.

The photos, posted to Kate and Prince William’s official Instagram account, show the mum in fits of giggles as she prepares the cakes ahead of a street party taking place in Cardiff today.

Under the snap, Kate wrote: “Baking cakes for the local community in Cardiff to enjoy at a Platinum Jubilee street party taking place today! 🎉

“We hope you like them!”

Casual Kate may have been wearing jeans, she added a touch of luxury with her designer top, a pink gingham blouse from Brora that cost £129.

And the Cambridge children seemed just as excited to shed their formal attire after three days of platinum anniversary celebrations.

Charlotte looked cute in a striped top and pink shorts, although she appeared to have had a baking-related accident as she later changed into a pink polo shirt and navy blue tasseled shorts.

Here, meanwhile, the brothers looked chic in navy polo shirts as they engaged in baking.

It was a late night for the Cambridge children as they joined their parents for the Queen’s Jubilee concert last night.

All you need to know about Queen Elizabeth…

The Queen has reigned for more than 70 years, making her the longest-serving British monarch. But what else do we know about them?

The Cambridges danced in their seats to We Will Rock You and Sweet Caroline as they enjoyed a night out at Party at the Palace.

It was a big day of firsts for Princess Charlotte.

She was accompanying George and her mum and dad on a visit to Wales on Saturday.

The seven-year-old stole the show when she pretended to conduct a band – and appeared to curtsy.

Princess Anne was also caught on camera yesterday as she burst out laughing at something brother Charles had said.

The Queen didn’t attend the celebrations – but she did capture a hilarious clip with Paddington Bear, which was shown before the performances began.

On Saturday night, the Queen attends performances by world-renowned artists such as Sir Elton John and Diana Ross from the comfort of her home.

Harry and Meghan weren’t in the audience either.

The couple stayed at Frogmore Cottage after spending the day privately celebrating daughter Lilibet’s first birthday.
