Campana’s hat-trick takes Inter Miami 3-2 past Revolution

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Leonardo Campana scored in the 88th minute to complete a hat-trick and led Inter Miami to their first win of the MLS season with a 3-2 win over the New England Revolution.

Campana scored the decisive goal for Inter Miami (1-4-1) in front of the net after Revolution keeper Brad Knighton deflected a shot from Bryce Duke.

Justin Rennicks took a cross from DeJuan Jones and scored in the 11th minute to give the Revolution (1-4-1) a 1-0 lead.

Campana drew Miami even when he headed in an Ariel Lassiter cross in the 17th minute.

Miami went 2-1 up when Campana took a pass from Robbie Robinson and drilled a shot just under the bar.

Carles Gil scored in the 67th minute with a penalty for the 2nd
