Burnley: Man dies and three injured after car crashes into wall

Investigations were launched after a car accident that left one dead and three injured.
A Volkswagen Golf has collided with a brick wall in the early hours of this morning on Brown Street, Burnley.
It is not believed that another vehicle was involved.
The driver of the car, a man in his 30s, was taken by ambulance to Royal Blackburn Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
There were three occupants in the vehicle at the time of the collision.
Lancashire Police said two men, aged 20 and 19, who were in the back of the vehicle suffered serious injuries and are currently being treated in hospital.
A 20-year-old man who was in the front passenger seat suffered minor injuries.
Sgt Steve Hardman said: “This collision has resulted in the loss of a man’s life and my thoughts are with his loved ones at this extremely difficult time.
“We are now working to establish the full circumstances of the collision and I would ask any witnesses or anyone with CCTV, dashcam or cellphone footage who would assist our investigation to contact police as soon as possible.”
