Britain’s Got Talent is back and bigger than ever, as you may have heard some of the acts’ names.

A special auditioner is Loren Allred, who is known to have sung Never Enough in the hit film The Greatest Showman.

She’ll take to the stage this weekend to impress the judges – Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams – and maybe even snag a gold buzzer.

This will be BGT’s 15th series after being pulled from the air last year due to the pandemic.

A selection of first-look images for upcoming episodes proves the show doesn’t skimp on variety, as everyone from Simon lookalikes to childish ventriloquists hope for a spot on the Royal Variety Show.

The preview images show Loren belting out the film’s hopefully iconic ballad and doing his best to impress the judges.

Another snap shows the judges – celebrating their 10th anniversary on the panel together in this series – giving a standing ovation for an act. Could that be for Loren?

Loren is a 32-year-old American singer and actress who made her Billboard Hot 100 debut with the platinum-selling film Never Enough.

However, she does not appear in the film as Rebecca Ferguson plays the role of musician Jenny Lind.

The song is included on the soundtrack and has since been covered by a number of stars including Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Hudson and Katherine McPhee.

It seems that she is now after her big break and wants to break away from her role as a backing singer and step into the spotlight herself.

Only time will tell how competitive she is as she battles illusionists, quick-change artists and other singers for a spot on the live shows.

Oh, and it wouldn’t be BGT without the unusual, so expect robots, giant crows and Amanda being lured onto the stage as a magician’s assistant.

Also returning to the series will be Ant and Dec, who have hosted BGT since its inception.

They will be back on our screens this Saturday and fans can rest assured that the panel will still be strong for a few years to come.

Simon will reportedly remain on the show through 2025, despite news that SyCo is downsizing.

Though the judges love a fight, just like any family, with the former X Factor panelist admitting they “very much disagree” but “don’t feel bad about arguing.”

They don’t always agree on controversial acts, especially when it comes to Simon and David, who often have divided opinions.

Britain’s Got Talent returns to ITV on Saturday April 16 from 8pm Sunday, April 17 at 7:35 p.m.
